Approach

Four steps from inquiry to operations.

Within seven days you know whether we work together, what the system can do, how long it takes, and what it costs. No binding order, no pressure.

01 Analysis · Day 1-2

Listen, read data, understand the problem

One or two video workshops. We read your existing systems, process documents, and order histories. No pitch, no sales call. At the end the problem is clearly described, or you learn why we are not the right partner.

02 Concept · Day 3-7

Architecture, scope, price

You receive a written concept: technical architecture, interfaces, milestones, risk assessment, fixed price or time-and-material with a cap. You decide. No subscription, no hidden costs.

03 Development · Week 2-X

Iterative, reviewable, live

We work in two- to four-week increments. Each increment is live and usable, not just a demo screenshot. You test with real data, we respond to feedback, and scope stays traceable.

04 Operations · ongoing

Hosting, monitoring, evolution

We host on our own infrastructure in Germany, monitor around the clock, and install updates promptly. Or we hand it over with clean documentation to your internal team. Both paths are agreed up front, not renegotiated later.

About

One founder. One promise. No account managers.

ByteKraft is a sole proprietorship based in Bocholt. Founded to close a gap: between large consultancies that are too expensive and too slow, and freelancers who are gone after six months. We build systems that run for years, and we are there when they do not.

In every conversation you speak directly with the founder, Yevhen Ptushko. No handoffs, no ticket numbers, no sales-driven discovery calls. That saves time and keeps quality high. The trade-off: we only take on as many projects at once as we can stand behind.

Frequently asked

Questions clients often ask before hiring us.

Does ByteKraft work with companies under ten employees?
Yes. We work with solo law firms, single-doctor practices, and small trade businesses, and with companies up to 200 employees. Beyond that size, internal IT typically becomes complex enough that an external studio is no longer the right fit.
Where do the systems you build run?
By default on our own infrastructure at Hetzner in Frankfurt and Nuremberg. Alternatively, we deliver everything as a Docker Compose project on your own servers if you prefer on-premise. In either case, data does not leave the European legal area.
Which AI models do you use?
We prefer Claude from Anthropic, along with Mistral and other European models depending on the requirement. For sensitive data we use models hosted in Frankfurt or Paris. We do not deploy models that run outside the European legal area unless the client explicitly wants that.
What does a typical project cost?
The range is wide. A manageable website project with CMS and form processing starts around EUR 6,000. An AI agent with CRM integration and multilingual logic typically lands between EUR 12,000 and EUR 30,000. After the first conversation you receive a concrete fixed price or a time-based cap. No hourly-rate fog.
How long does a project usually take?
We work in two- to four-week increments. A small engagement is often live after three to four weeks. A larger integration project runs three to six months, with usable interim states every two to four weeks.
Can I take the system over later?
Yes, and we plan for that from the start. Cleanly documented code, traceable architecture, runbooks for operations. If you want to host the system yourself after two years, we hand it over. No lock-in.
